Our Story
Biscuit City Bowls was born out of a simple need: fresh, healthy, home-cooked meals that fit into the chaos of daily life. When I returned to work after maternity leave, I quickly realized how difficult it was to find a meal service that actually delivered wholesome, flavorful food made with high-quality ingredients. I wanted dinners that felt like they were cooked in my own kitchen—but couldn’t find anything local that fit the bill. So, we decided to change that.
My husband and I met while both working in tech in San Francisco. We spent a couple years in New York City before making our way back to Rhode Island in May 2023, settling in Kingston to be closer to family and the coast. Our daughter Maeve was born in June 2024, and alongside our dog, Louise, our home is filled with the warmth of good food and family.
Cooking has always been our favorite hobby. Living in SF and NYC gave us the opportunity to explore incredible restaurants, take cooking classes, and experiment with new techniques in the kitchen. We’ve spent years perfecting recipes and now, we’re bringing that passion to life.
With Biscuit City Bowls, our goal is simple: to bring fresh, thoughtfully prepared meals to busy families, friends, and neighbors in South Kingstown. Now that I’m taking a step back in my corporate job to work part time and spend more time with Maeve, this is our chance to share what we love—delicious, home-cooked meals that nourish and bring people together.
